Acquired:

Signed as a free agent by Hamilton on February 16, 2006.

2006:

Played in 14 games before suffering a season-ending injury on September 16 ... Was the Ticats nominee for the CFL Most Oustanding Offensive Lineman Award

2005:

Started all 18 games during his fourth season in the Nation’s Capital…showed his great versatility seeing action at center, guard and tackle…opened up the holes for Josh Ranek to rush for a season high 164 yards on 20 carries in Ottawa’s 33-18 victory over Calgary on July 16th…paved the path for Kerry Joseph to complete 24 of 35 pass attempts for a season high 360 yards and two touchdowns with no interceptions in Ottawa’s 43-23 loss to Montreal on October 29th.

2004:

Started every game but one for Ottawa and was a rock at the center position...the 6-foot-4, 310-pound non-import product of New Mexico State only missed the Week 12 contest against the B.C. Lions in September due to a back injury…returned to action at Calgary in week 13…was named to the CFLPA All-Star team.

2003:

Played in 17 games during the regular season, making 15 starts at centre and two at left tackle...returned to action July 1st at Calgary after missing only game of season July 27th vs. Winnipeg due to ankle injury suffered in practice June 23rd...moved from his regular perch at centre to left tackle spot with to replace the injured Val St. Germain for games on August 12th at Winnipeg and August 17th at Saskatchewan…nominated by Ottawa Chapter of Football Reporters of Canada as the team's nominee for Rogers AT&T CFL Most Outstanding Lineman.

2002:

The Ottawa Renegades selected Hudson on January 17th in phase one of the 2002 CFL expansion draft…played in 15 games during the regular season…injured during the Aug. 30 game vs. BC and missed the next three games... started at center in final two games of the season vs. Montreal in place of injured Carl Coulter.

2001:

Played in all 18 games with one start during his second season with the Eskimos…had initially signed with the Carolina Panthers on February 15th…was allocated by Carolina to the Berlin Thunder of NFL Europe…failed his physical and was released on March 22nd…was released by the Panthers on April 5th.

2000:

The Edmonton Eskimos selected the product of New Mexico State in the third round (17th overall) of the 2000 Canadian College Draft…signed with the Eskimos on September 13th following his release from the Dallas Cowboys…played in five games with one start during his rookie season…made one defensive tackle…made his CFL debut in the Eskimos 26-14 loss at B.C. on September 16th…started the first game of his CFL career on November 3rd in Edmonton’s 30-18 loss at Winnipeg…initially signed as an un-drafted free-agent with the Dallas Cowboys on April 28th…attended the Cowboys training camp and was released on August 28th.

College:

Played three seasons (1996-1999) at New Mexico State...as a junior, contributed to the New Mexico offense which totaled 5,084 yards, second all-time in school history....in 1998, earned All-Big West Conference honorable mention.

Personal:

Born November 10th, 1976 in St. Catharines, Ontario... became a father for the first time on March 18, 2005, when his wife, Shannon, gave birth to baby boy Val Alexander Hudson at the Ottawa General Hospital…George currently lives in his hometown of St. Catharines…once worked in New Mexico during the off-season as a "repo man"...played offensive and defensive line for Beamsville District Secondary in Beamsville, ON (between Hamilton and St. Catharines in the Niagara Peninsula)...voted a team captain for the 1994 and 1995 seasons.
