George Hoey

George Hoey (George William Hoey) was born on November 14, 1946 in Gaffney, South Carolina. After going to high school at Central (Flint, MI), Hoey attended the University of Michigan. Hoey made his professional debut in the NFL in 1971 with the St. Louis Cardinals. He played for the New England Patriots, New York Jets, San Diego Chargers and St. Louis Cardinals over the course of his 5 year career.
Most people believe that 1971 was George Hoey's best year, as he ran back a kickoff for a touchdown.
