George Herring

George Herring (George W. Herring) was born on June 18, 1934 in Gadsden, Alabama. After going to high school at Hokes Bluff (AL), Herring attended Jones County Junior College and the University of Southern Mississippi. Herring made his professional debut in the AFL in 1960 with the Denver Broncos. He played for the Denver Broncos for his entire 2 year career.
Most people believe that 1961 was George Herring's best year.
