George Hausmann (George John Hausmann) was born on February 11, 1916 in St. Louis, Missouri. He made his Major League debut on April 18, 1944 for the New York Giants. In 1944, his rookie year, he hit .266 with 1 home run and 30 RBI. Hausmann played for the New York Giants for his entire 3 year career.
