George Grandinette (George J. Grandinette) was born on April 13, 1917 in New Haven, Connecticut. After going to high school at Bridgton Academy (North Bridgton, ME) and James Hillhouse (New Haven, CT), Grandinette attended Fordham University. Grandinette made his professional debut in the NFL in 1943 with the Chicago Bears. He played for the Chicago Bears for his entire 1 year career.
