George Freese

George Freese (George Walter Freese) was born on September 12, 1926 in Wheeling, West Virginia. He made his Major League debut on April 29, 1953 for the Pittsburgh Pirates. In 1955, his rookie year, he hit .257 with 3 home runs and 22 RBI. Freese played for the Pittsburgh Pirates for his entire 1 year career.
