George Dockins

Born on May 5, 1917 in Clyde, Kansas, George Dockins (George Woodrow Dockins) played for the St. Louis Cardinals and Brooklyn Dodgers over the course of his 2 year career. Dockins broke into the bigs on May 5, 1945 with the St. Louis Cardinals, and put up a 3.21 ERA in 126.1 innings pitched in 1945, his rookie year.
