George Demas (George James Demas) was born on January 7, 1907 in Johnstown, Pennsylvania. After going to high school at Allegheny Prep (Pittsburgh, PA) and Kiski Prep (Saltsburg, PA), Demas attended Washington & Jefferson College. Demas made his professional debut in the NFL in 1932 with the Staten Island Stapletons. He played for the Brooklyn Dodgers and Staten Island Stapletons over the course of his 2 year career.
