George Cutshaw (George William Cutshaw) was born on July 29, 1886 in Wilmington, Illinois. He made his Major League debut on April 25, 1912 for the Brooklyn Superbas. In 1912, his rookie year, he hit .280 with 0 home runs and 28 RBI. Cutshaw played for the Brooklyn Superbas, Pittsburgh Pirates and Detroit Tigers over the course of his 12 year career.

Most people believe that George Cutshaw's best season was 1913, when he stole 39 bases and knocked in 80 runs.
