George Cunningham

Born on July 13, 1894 in Sturgeon Lake, Minnesota, George Cunningham (George Harold Cunningham) played for the Detroit Tigers for his entire 5 year career. Cunningham broke into the bigs on April 14, 1916 with the Detroit Tigers, and put up a 2.75 ERA in 150.1 innings pitched in 1916, his rookie year.
Most people believe that George Cunningham's best season was 1916, when he posted a 2.75 ERA and struck out 68 batters.
