George Crowe

George Crowe (George Daniel Crowe) was born on March 22, 1921 in Whiteland, Indiana. He made his Major League debut on April 16, 1952 for the Boston Braves. In 1952, his rookie year, he hit .258 with 4 home runs and 20 RBI. Crowe played for the Boston Braves, Milwaukee Braves, Cincinnati Reds and St. Louis Cardinals over the course of his 8 year career.
Most people believe that George Crowe's best season was 1957, when he slugged 31 home runs and knocked in 92 runs.
