George Burnside (George Harrison Burnside) was born on January 21, 1899 in Oconto Falls, Wisconsin. Burnside attended the University of South Dakota and the University of Wisconsin. Burnside made his professional debut in the NFL in 1926 with the Racine Tornadoes. He played for the Racine Tornadoes for his entire 1 year career.
