George Buehler (George Siegrist Buehler) was born on August 10, 1947 in Whittier, California. After going to high school at Whittier (CA), Buehler attended Stanford University. Buehler made his professional debut in the AFL in 1969 with the Oakland Raiders. He played in the AFL for 1 year, playing for the Oakland Raiders the entire time. Buehler also played in the NFL for 10 years, playing for the Oakland Raiders and Cleveland Browns over the course of his 10 year NFL career.

Most people believe that 1977 was George Buehler's best year.
