George Boynton (George Douglas Boynton) was born on July 6, 1937 in Los Angeles, California. After going to high school at Quanah (TX), Boynton attended Eastern New Mexico University, Ranger College and Texas Agricultural and Mechanical University-Commerce. Boynton made his professional debut in the AFL in 1962 with the Oakland Raiders. He played for the Oakland Raiders for his entire 1 year career.
