George Bernhardt

George Bernhardt (Bernhardt George W.) was born on June 15, 1920. After going to high school at Riverside-Brookfield (Berwyn, IL), Bernhardt attended the University of Illinois. Bernhardt made his professional debut in the AAFC in 1946 with the Brooklyn Dodgers. He played for the Brooklyn Dodgers and Chicago Rockets over the course of his 3 year career.
Most people believe that 1946 was George Bernhardt's best year.
