George Anderson (George Jendrus Anderson) was born on September 26, 1889 in Cleveland, Ohio. He made his Major League debut on May 26, 1914 for the Brooklyn Tip-Tops. In 1914, his rookie year, he hit .316 with 3 home runs and 24 RBI. Anderson played for the Brooklyn Tip-Tops and St. Louis Cardinals over the course of his 3 year career.
