Gene Sykes

Gene Sykes (Eugene Charles Sykes) was born on September 26, 1941 in New Orleans, Louisiana. After going to high school at Covington (LA), Sykes attended Louisiana State University. Sykes made his professional debut in the AFL in 1963 with the Buffalo Bills. He played for the Buffalo Bills and Denver Broncos over the course of his 4 year career.
Most people believe that 1964 was Gene Sykes's best year.
