Gene Rowell (Eugene Rowell) was born on February 15, 1958 in San Diego, California. After going to high school at Fennimore (WI), Rowell attended Iowa State University and the University of Dubuque. Rowell made his professional debut in the NFL in 1987 with the Chicago Bears. He played for the Chicago Bears for his entire 1 year career.
