Gene Prebola (Eugene Nicholas Prebola) was born on June 30, 1938 in Bronx, New York. After going to high school at Memorial (West New York, NJ), Prebola attended Boston University. Prebola made his professional debut in the AFL in 1960 with the Oakland Raiders. He played for the Denver Broncos and Oakland Raiders over the course of his 4 year career.

Most people believe that 1962 was Gene Prebola's best year, as he hauled in 41 receptions and had 599 receiving yards.
