Gene Krapp

Born on May 12, 1887 in Rochester, New York, Gene Krapp (Eugene Hamlet Krapp) played for the Cleveland Naps and Buffalo Blues over the course of his 4 year career. Krapp broke into the bigs on April 14, 1911 with the Cleveland Naps, and put up a 3.41 ERA in 222 innings pitched in 1911, his rookie year.
Most people believe that Gene Krapp's best season was 1914, when he posted a 2.49 ERA, won 16 games and struck out 106 batters.
