Gene Johnson

Gene Johnson (Eugene Paul Johnson) was born on September 18, 1935 in Clay, West Virginia. After going to high school at Charleston (WV) and Greenbriar Military Academy, Johnson attended the University of Cincinnati. Johnson made his professional debut in the NFL in 1959 with the Philadelphia Eagles. He played for the Philadelphia Eagles and New York Giants over the course of his 3 year career.
Most people believe that 1960 was Gene Johnson's best year, as he picked off 3 passes.
