Gene Jeter (Eugene Jeter) was born on February 9, 1942 in Montgomery, Alabama. After going to high school at Booker T. Washington (Montgomery, AL), Jeter attended the University of Arkansas at Pine Bluff. Jeter made his professional debut in the AFL in 1965 with the Denver Broncos. He played for the Denver Broncos for his entire 3 year career.
