Gene Huey (Eugene Aaron Huey) was born on July 20, 1947 in Uniontown, Pennsylvania. After going to high school at Uniontown (PA), Huey attended the University of Wyoming. Huey made his professional debut in the AFL in 1969 with the San Diego Chargers. He played for the San Diego Chargers for his entire 1 year career.
