Gene Howard

Gene Howard (Eugene Howard) was born on December 22, 1946 in Little Rock, Arkansas. After going to high school at Scipio Jones (North Little Rock, AR), Howard attended Langston University. Howard made his professional debut in the NFL in 1968 with the New Orleans Saints. He played for the New Orleans Saints and Los Angeles Rams over the course of his 5 year career.
Most people believe that 1971 was Gene Howard's best year, as he picked off 6 passes and ran back a fumble for a touchdown.
