Gene Gedman (Eugene William Gedman) was born on January 9, 1932 in Duquesne, Pennsylvania. After going to high school at Duquesne (PA), Gedman attended Indiana University. Gedman made his professional debut in the NFL in 1953 with the Detroit Lions. He played for the Detroit Lions for his entire 4 year career.
Most people believe that 1956 was Gene Gedman's best year, as he ran in 7 TDs.
