Gene Corbett (Eugene Louis Corbett) was born on October 25, 1913 in Winona, Minnesota. He made his Major League debut on September 19, 1936 for the Philadelphia Phillies. Corbett played for the Philadelphia Phillies for his entire 3 year career.
