Gene Brabender

Born on August 16, 1941 in Madison, Wisconsin, Gene Brabender (Eugene Mathew Brabender) played for the Baltimore Orioles, Seattle Pilots and Milwaukee Brewers over the course of his 5 year career. Brabender broke into the bigs on May 11, 1966 with the Baltimore Orioles, and put up a 3.55 ERA in 71 innings pitched in 1966, his rookie year.
There is some disagreement on what was Gene Brabender's most productive season. Some believe that it was 1969, when he posted a 4.36 ERA, won 13 games and struck out 139 batters. However, others believe that it was 1968, when he posted a 3.31 ERA and struck out 92 batters.
