Gators RB James back from Injury

5
Vote

The freshman running back Brandon James out of the St. Augestine area returns to the field this week. Meyer spoke highly of the freshman going into the SEC Media days, and James was expected to take a big role with the Gators which was supposed to include returning kicks and some touches out of the running back position. He has been out with a knee injury since near the end of Fall practices and having him back will be an added boost. He has alot of speed. He reminds alot of people of a Warrick Dunn like speedster that really can help out any offense. With the Gators having injuries to both Wynn and Markus Manson, he is really needed. Another back who might get some touches this week is freshman Mon Williams out of the Texas area who also was part of the Gators incoming recruiting class.
