Gary Weaver (Gary Lynn Weaver) was born on March 13, 1949 in Florence, Alabama. After going to high school at Bradshaw (Florence, AL), Weaver attended California State University, Fresno and Trinidad State Junior College. Weaver made his professional debut in the NFL in 1973 with the Oakland Raiders. He played for the Green Bay Packers and Oakland Raiders over the course of his 7 year career.

Most people believe that 1973 was Gary Weaver's best year.
