Gary Spann (Gary Lynn Spann) was born on February 3, 1963 in Dallas, Texas. After going to high school at South Oak Cliff (Dallas, TX), Spann attended Texas Christian University. Spann made his professional debut in the NFL in 1987 with the Kansas City Chiefs. He played for the Kansas City Chiefs for his entire 1 year career.
