Born on May 27, 1948 in Herlong, California, Gary Nolan (Gary Lynn Nolan) played for the Cincinnati Reds and California Angels over the course of his 10 year career. Nolan broke into the bigs on April 15, 1967 with the Cincinnati Reds, and put up a 2.58 ERA in 226.2 innings pitched in 1967, his rookie year.

Most people believe that Gary Nolan's best season was 1967, when he posted a 2.58 ERA, won 14 games and struck out 206 batters.
