Gary Lucas

Born on November 8, 1954 in Riverside, California, Gary Lucas (Gary Paul Lucas) played for the San Diego Padres, Montreal Expos and California Angels over the course of his 8 year career. Lucas broke into the bigs on April 16, 1980 with the San Diego Padres, and put up a 3.24 ERA in 150 innings pitched in 1980, his rookie year.
Most people believe that Gary Lucas's best season was 1981, when he posted a 2.00 ERA, notched 13 saves and struck out 53 batters.
