Gary Lowe (Gary Richard Lowe) was born on May 4, 1934 in Trenton, Michigan. After going to high school at Trenton (MI), Lowe attended Michigan State University. Lowe made his professional debut in the NFL in 1956 with the Washington Redskins. He played for the Detroit Lions and Washington Redskins over the course of his 9 year career.

Most people believe that 1959 was Gary Lowe's best year, as he picked off 5 passes.
