Gary Gray (Gary George Gray) was born on September 21, 1952 in New Orleans, Louisiana. He made his Major League debut on June 23, 1977 for the Texas Rangers. In 1981, his rookie year, he hit .245 with 13 home runs and 31 RBI. Gray played for the Texas Rangers, Cleveland Indians and Seattle Mariners over the course of his 6 year career.
