Gary Famiglietti (Gary J. Famiglietti) was born on November 28, 1913 in Medford, Massachusetts. After going to high school at Medford (MA), Famiglietti attended Boston University. Famiglietti made his professional debut in the NFL in 1938 with the Chicago Bears. He played for the Chicago Bears and Boston Yanks over the course of his 9 year career.

Most people believe that 1942 was Gary Famiglietti's best year, as he ran for 503 yards and ran in 8 TDs.
