Gary Downs (Gary McLinton Downs, Jr.) was born on June 6, 1972 in Columbus, Georgia. After going to high school at William H. Spencer (Columbus, GA), Downs attended North Carolina State University. Downs made his professional debut in the NFL in 1994 with the New York Giants. He played for the Atlanta Falcons, New York Giants and Denver Broncos over the course of his 6 year career.
Most people believe that 1996 was Gary Downs's best year.
