Born on October 11, 1931 in Clarkton, Missouri, Gary Blaylock (Gary Nelson Blaylock) played for the St. Louis Cardinals and New York Yankees over the course of his 1 year career. Blaylock broke into the bigs on April 10, 1959 with the St. Louis Cardinals, and put up a 4.80 ERA in 125.2 innings pitched in 1959, his rookie year.
