Gary Arthur (Gary Patrick Arthur) was born on January 9, 1948 in Dayton, Ohio. After going to high school at Chaminade (Dayton, OH), Arthur attended Miami University of Ohio. Arthur made his professional debut in the NFL in 1970 with the New York Jets. He played for the New York Jets for his entire 2 year career.

Most people believe that 1971 was Gary Arthur's best year.
