Born on January 2, 1972 in Takoma Park, Maryland, Garrett Stephenson (Garrett Charles Stephenson) played for the Baltimore Orioles, Philadelphia Phillies and St. Louis Cardinals over the course of his 7 year career. Stephenson broke into the bigs on July 25, 1996 with the Baltimore Orioles, and put up a 3.15 ERA in 117 innings pitched in 1997, his rookie year.

Most people believe that Garrett Stephenson's best season was 2000, when he posted a 4.49 ERA, won 16 games and struck out 123 batters.
