Garrett Ford (Garrett William Ford) was born on May 4, 1945 in Washington, District Of Columbia. After going to high school at DeMatha Catholic (Hyattsville, MD), Ford attended West Virginia University. Ford made his professional debut in the AFL in 1968 with the Denver Broncos.
