Born on March 28, 1935 in Elkton, Virginia, Garland Shifflett (Garland Jessie Shifflett) played for the Washington Senators and Minnesota Twins over the course of his 2 year career. Shifflett broke into the bigs on April 22, 1957 with the Washington Senators.
