Garland Rivers (Garland A. Rivers) was born on November 3, 1964. After going to high school at McKinley (Canton, OH), Rivers attended the University of Michigan. Rivers made his professional debut in the NFL in 1987 with the Chicago Bears. He played for the Chicago Bears for his entire 1 year career.
