Garland Buckeye (Garland Maiers Buckeye) was born on October 16, 1897 in Heron Lake, Minnesota. . Buckeye made his professional debut in the APFA in 1920 with the Chicago Tigers. He played in the APFA for 2 years, playing for the Chicago Cardinals and Chicago Tigers over the course of his 2 year APFA career.Buckeye also played in the NFL for 3 years, playing for the Chicago Cardinals the entire time. Buckeye also played in the AFLG for 1 year, playing for the Chicago Bulls the entire time.
