Garland Batiste (Garland Anthony Jean Batiste) was born on April 2, 1965 in Lafayette, Louisiana. After going to high school at St. Martinsville (LA), Batiste attended Louisiana State University. Batiste made his professional debut in the NFL in 1987 with the New Orleans Saints. He played for the New Orleans Saints for his entire 1 year career.
