The game started out rough with a large kickoff return into Navy's territory and before the Mids' could blink they were down 7-0. They however responded well and brought the game back to 17-17 with about 3:30 left in the first half only to have the ball turned over after QB Kaipo went down and Jarod Bryant was blindsided while trying to set up a screen. The fumble was recovered by Wake and brought into the end zone stopping any chance of a continuing moment swing that the Mids' were working on before half. They however came out strong in the 2nd half until two turnovers led to Wake points and made it a long second half. Navy had their chance but can't hope to compete with talented teams while turning the ball over. They will be fine and have a tough opponent in Delaware this week.
