Gale Gillingham (Gale Herbert Gillingham) was born on February 3, 1944 in Madison, Wisconsin. After going to high school at Little Falls (MN), Gillingham attended the University of Minnesota. Gillingham made his professional debut in the NFL in 1966 with the Green Bay Packers. He played for the Green Bay Packers for his entire 10 year career.

Most people believe that 1969 was Gale Gillingham's best year.
