Gail Harris

Gail Harris (Boyd Gail Harris) was born on October 15, 1931 in Abington, Virginia. He made his Major League debut on June 3, 1955 for the New York Giants. In 1955, his rookie year, he hit .232 with 12 home runs and 36 RBI. Harris played for the New York Giants and Detroit Tigers over the course of his 6 year career.
Most people believe that Gail Harris's best season was 1958, when he slugged 20 home runs and knocked in 83 runs.
