Gabe Kapler (Gabriel Stefan Kapler) was born on July 31, 1975 in Hollywood, California. He made his Major League debut on September 20, 1998 for the Detroit Tigers. In 1999, his rookie year, he hit .245 with 18 home runs and 49 RBI. Kapler played for the Detroit Tigers, Texas Rangers, Colorado Rockies and Boston Red Sox over the course of his 9 year career.

Most people believe that Gabe Kapler's best season was 2001, when he slugged 17 home runs and knocked in 72 runs.
