Gabby Street (Charles Evard Street) was born on September 30, 1882 in Huntsville, Alabama. He made his Major League debut on September 13, 1904 for the Cincinnati Reds. In 1908, his rookie year, he hit .206 with 1 home run and 32 RBI. Street played for the Cincinnati Reds, Boston Beaneaters, Washington Senators, New York Highlanders and St. Louis Cardinals over the course of his 8 year career.
