I know they are part of the Veterans Comittee. They vote if the player has been on for a certain amount of time and still not made it in. Im pretty sure thats what it is.

A few note via Wikipedia:
  • There is not a complete list avalible to the public. The only way to determine is to search every newspaper and AP/ESPN esque Archives to see who has said they voted, and even then it wont be complete
  • numbers 2,7,14 and any other NYT and Washington Post writer does not vote per their paper's policy.
  • another name for the list Jim Sohan, Minneapolis Star Tribune http://www.s.../926525.html

who audits the voting to make sure it is accurate?? Or does MLB have it's hand in there too?

And when are they gonna address the fact that banned players (like Shoeless Joe and Charlie Hustle) are banned by MLB, not the National Baseball Hall of Fame (which is NOT associated with nor under any jurisdiction of MLB) nor are they banned by BBWAA (also, NOT a subsidiary of MLB)???

They can vote for and induct whoever they want and MLB can't say a damned thing about it... what a sham of an old boys network.
